President Donald Trump has asked NATO allies to stop buying Russian oil and back sweeping new sanctions and tariffs on Moscow and Beijing, arguing that the measures would quickly help Russia’s years.–Long war with Ukraine.
In a real social position on Saturday morning, Trump said he had written all the nations of the world that he is ready to impose “important sanctions” to Russia and new tariffs on China, but only when all NATO nations agree and begin to take the same steps.
“As you know, NATO’s commitment has been much less than 100%, and the purchase of Russian oil, for some, has been shocking!” Trump wrote.

Trump says that he is running out of patience with Putin ‘Fast’ about Ukraine conflict negotiations
“You must greatly weaken your negotiation position and negotiation power over Russia. Anyway, I am ready to ‘go’ when it is. Just say when?”
Since 2023, the NATO Turkey member has been classified as the third largest buyer of Russian oil, only behind China and India, according to the Clean Energy Research Center. Other NATO members still buy Russian oil include Hungary and Slovakia.
Trump asked NATO to impose tariffs of 50% to 100% in China, to rise once the Russian-Ukraine war ends.
He argued that sanctions and tariffs would break China’s control over Russia, while adding that war would never have begun if it had been in office.
“The tariffs will break that grip. This is not Trump’s war (it would never have begun if he were president!), It is the Biden and Zelenskyy war,” Trump wrote. “I am only here to help stop and save thousands of Russian and Ukrainian lives (7,118 lost lives last week alone.

“If NATO does what I say, the war will end quickly, and all those lives will be saved! If not, it is simply wasting time and time, energy and money from the United States.”
Russia launched a large -scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. In the campaign, Trump said he would quickly end the war, but admitted that he has found it more difficult than he initially thought.
Since he returned to office, Trump has pressed to finish the war, meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy several times, even once in the Vatican, as well as with President Vladimir Putin in Russia.
NATO The allies have been on a maximum alert this week after almost two dozen Russian drones entered Poland on Wednesday during a massive air attack against Ukraine, that Trump had suggested could have been a mistake, but that Poland and Ukraine have fervently rejected as any type of accident.

On Friday, Trump said he was “” without patience with Putin “fast” after Kremlin said the negotiations with Ukraine were “in pause.”
“But it takes two to Tango,” Trump said after host Brian Kilmeade said Zelenskyy offered to meet with Putin several times.
“It’s surprising: when Putin wanted to do it, Zelenskyy didn’t do it. When Zelenskyy wanted to do it, Putin did not.
