The former Biden employee insisted that the process was solid.
“The power of forgiveness falls to the president, not with the Department of Justice,” said the employee. “While the Department of Justice is free to raise its own concerns about the pardons, and before Trump fired all the career personnel who did it, it is ultimately the president’s decision.”
