Fallout season 2 teaser demonstrates that it is still possible to make a trailer in the right way

Amazon Prime Video “Fallout” adaptation fans have already devoured the new advance of the next second year of the program. The teaser trailer of season 2 of “Fallout” once again demonstrates that the state of video game adaptations is better than ever, and the stars Purnell, Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten seem to be in a privileged form. Fans after apocalypse can see a lot of new interesting images and small fun gags, as well as a good look at the new vegas configuration of the season. We even see a look at the most emblematic monster of the series of games, Deathclaw, not to mention an excellent look at Robert House by Justin Theroux, the enigmatic Player of Vegas Power and a key instigator of the version of the Apocalypse program.

Here is the turn, however: it doesn’t matter how much it seems to reveal the trailer, it actually does not offer new information about the post-apocalyptic timeline of the program. Of course, there are some funny pepitas of Cooper “The Ghoul” Howard’s (Goggins) Backstory, but there is still practically nothing here that the observer fans still did not know. The end of season 1 of “Fallout” confirmed that New Vegas approaches and mocked the appearance of Claws Deathclaws by showing the skull of one. We even knew that Mr. House came, thanks to his prominence in the history of video games “Fallout: New Vegas”, as well as the fact that he has already briefly appeared in season 1, played by Rafi Silver.

As such, Theroux casting is the only important revelation in the trailer, which, however, manages to seem interesting and fresh. This is a rarity in the heavy spoiler environment, and it is worth highlighting this as a stellar example of the way trailers can be made when the people involved care about the project.

Each movie and television movie has run into trailers that give too much. Many science fiction trailers have spoiled everything the project has to offer, which is a parody considering how much the gender of extravagant turns depends. In 2017, Matthew Vaughn was not even vocally impressed with the “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” trailer that spoiled an important character. Similarly, superhero films trailers usually spoil key characters and events; One of the “Spider-Man: Far Fir Home” trailers actually included a Spoiler warning, while a trailer “Deadpool & Wolverine” happily revealed the return of Dafne Keen’s X-23.

The other end of the spectrum makes things as secret and strange as possible to maintain real plot elements in secret. This has the potential to attract the audience: the previous views of the “weapons” of Zach Cregger and most Christopher Nolan’s trailers make a bow. Unfortunately, you can also lead the films to receive deeply deceitful advances, such as 2011 that made its best level to make the prestigious criminal drama of Nicholas Winging Ref “Drive” look like a “fast and furious” style action film.

Of course, trailers are marketing tools that are subject to immense study pressure and, without a doubt, abundant notes, and therefore can include more important rhythms of the film or program than their manufacturers would prefer. Even so, it seems to me that there is a way to do this that does not imply spoiling half of the plot or making the trailer too esoteric or misleading. By offering a single revelation of an actor and simply expanding in previously played aspects of the next arch of history, it seems that the trailer of season 2 of “Fallout” has managed to decipher this code.
