Nintendo has found its live action link and Zelda

In a surprise announcement this morning, Nintendo has confirmed the stars of its live action Zelda legend movie.

In a statement revealed for the first time through its Nintendo Today application (which previously gave us the original release date of the film), the editor confirmed that the newly arrived relative Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will play Princess Zelda and Link, respectively.

“This is Miyamoto. I am pleased to announce that for the live action movie Zelda’s legendBo Braason-San will play Zelda, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-San, “said Nintendo Shigeru Miyamoto executive in a statement that accompanies the news.” I am anxious to see both on the big screen. “

“The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027,” the statement concluded. “Thank you for your patience.”

Both stars are relatively young (Bragason is 21 years old at the time of casting, Ainsworth only 17), with few credits to their names, a marked contrast with and dazzling and full of stars from Nintendo and Illumination’s’s Mario Film a few years ago. Bason is better known for its appearance in the Disney+ series Nell renegade Last year, while Ainsworth appeared on a secondary role in Netflix’s Bly Manor’s disturbingBut perhaps it is better known as the voice of the real action pinocho in the Disney 2022 remake.
