Spain produced a strong performance of the second half to defeat Italy 3-1 and reserve its place in the Semifinals of Euro 2025.
The game was full of entertainment, with Italy taking advantage of early pressure to take the lead in the tenth minute.
Elisabetta Oliviero ended up from the center of the box after an attack spell that saw Elena Linari hit the crossbar moments before.
However, Spain replied. Only four minutes later, Athena del Castillo leveled the score with a low end after an intelligent assistance from Alexia Putellas.
The visitors began to take control as the medium advanced, but they were received by a series of excellent salvages from the carrier of Italy Laura Giuliani.
The second half saw the quality of Spain start shining. Patri Guijarro gave them a deserved 2-1 advantage in the 49th minute with a precise blow from the distance that curled out in the lower corner.
Spain continued to press, with putellas orchestrating the game and repeatedly testing Giuliani, who kept Italy in the game with several key salvations.
Italy made a series of substitutions in an attempt to recover the impulse, but struggled to tear down their opponents.
Esther González, presented in the middle of the middle, added a third in the detention time with an end of the Putellas Cross to ensure victory.

Otherwise, Belgium beat Portugal to end his hopes of reaching the qualifying stages.
Belgium opened the early score through Tessa Wullaert in the third minute, ending a Jill Janssens cross with a sweet blow to the lower corner.
Portugal responded well, testing Lisa Lichtfus with efforts from Diana Silva, Ana Capeta and Fatima Pinto, but could not find a great advance.
Belgium almost doubled his advantage just before part time, but Mariam Toloba saw his discarded effort offside after a VAR review in the 64th minute. Jassina Blom was forced to the wounds and replaced by Marie Deruyer in the first half to add insult to the injury.
Portugal made changes to the break, bringing Andreia Jacinto and Lucia Alves.
Despite the growing pressure of Portugal, Belgium had another target rejected through VAR, this time Amber Tysiak’s effort was attributed.
Portugal finally matched in the 87th minute when Telma Encarnacao clung to a ball through Kika Nazareth and shot home.
However, Belgium responded with a late winner in the detention time. Janice Cayman found space in the middle and scored with seconds to go after a blocked initial effort.
