Elon Musk is in return mode. And he is doing it in the only way he knows how: when lighting the flames of the cultural war and the progressives of Trolling.
The richest man in the world has just endured one of the most humiliating sections of his public life. What began as a bombastic consequence with Donald Trump, whom Musk helped return to the White House, ended with a rare and little characteristic public apology.

This moment of contrition pointed out how much damage the dispute had caused, not only to Musk’s reputation with Make America Great Again Again Conservative, but also for its companies. Tesla, the manufacturer of electric vehicles that he directs as CEO, is still recovering from a strong sales fall. The deliveries of the first quarter fell 13%, and net income fell 71% year after year. The company’s shares have fallen more than 20% since January.

An X user, who identified as bisexual, challenged musk directly:

He sees “wakeism” as an existential threat to Western civilization. According to Musk’s property, X has become a resistance platform, where Dei’s criticisms, pronouns, gender identity and political correction are encouraged and amplified.
His alignment with the conservatives of Maga has been reinforced not only by rhetoric but for money. Musk contributed almost $ 290 million to help Trump win the 2024 elections. It is not clear if Musk’s re -entry into the cultural war will be enough to restore his position with the end right. Its consequences with Trump exposed the ideological cracks based on the ego that may not be easy to repair. But Musk is betting that shared enemies, liberals, Dei’s defenders and “awake” elites) are still enough to rebuild common land.
After all, one thing unites Musk and Maga hardlingers: a belief that progressive policy is the enemy, and that crushing it is a moral imperative.
