NASA’s Mars Orbiter took this image of curiosity transported along the surface

Curiosity Mars’s rover covers a lot of land for a robot that only moves at a maximum speed of .1 mph. A photo recently taken by the Mars Mars Recognition Orbiter of NASA provides a rather great visualization of what the Rover has been doing so far this year, showing the clues the curiosity that is left behind while traveling from its previous scientific goal, an area called Channel Gediz Vallis, to its next destination.
