The Terror Dourif terror legend joins the Pitt of Max (and it is perfect casting)

There is a lot of hospital horror in the new medical drama of Max “The Pitt”, so it makes sense that a legend of horror one joins the incredible cast cast. “The Pitt” follows the emergency room of a fictitious hospital in Pittsburgh in real time, with each episode of the program that serves as an hour on the unique day of the season, obscenely chaotic. (If that sounds a lot like the classic NBC “ER” drama, you are not wrong and, uh, complicated).

In the first season so far, the team under Senior Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Noah Wyle) has already handled its fair part of trauma and death before a massive shot event at a nearby music festival leads doctors, nurses and hospital staff that already stretched. Episode 13 of “The Pitt” saw Wyle give the best performance of his career in the center of everything, delivering human catheticism in the midst of all the nightmare bloods while trying to help his stepson deal with an unimaginable tragedy. The raising of children seems to be a subject, since Dr. Cassie McKay (Fiona Dourif) is also trying to protect her son, who ended up in the hospital with her father (her ex -husband) before the mass shooting began. Desperate to keep him away from horrors, but unable to leave, she calls her parents for help.

It seems that Cassie’s father will be interpreted by nothing less than Dourif’s real life, actor Brad Dourif, better known in terror circles for playing Charles Lee Ray/The Voice of Chucky in the “Play’s Child’s Play” franchise. In a press photo for the series, we can see them together in the hospital, luckily on their way for your son Harrison (Henry Samiri) to be safe and less likely they will be traumatized for life.

Brad Dourif binds to Pitt on a fairly perfect paper

While it is possible that Brad Dourif be playing another random character, it is quite sure to assume that he is playing Cassie’s father. He had previously called him to come to pick up Harrison, who was in the hospital after his ex was injured in a skate accident. (Not only that, but Dourif is quite retired from acting and may have done this only as an opportunity to spend time with your child). In the photo of the press (above), it seems that Dr. McKay is explaining something to the old Dourif while walking through the hospital. It is still covered with blood and probably are in a hurry, since the mass trauma event is ongoing.

This is not the first time that father and daughter have starred together a television series, since Fiona portrayed a younger version of Charles Lee Ray in the television series “Chucky”, in which his father repeated his role as the voice of the good wrist with the worst attitude in the world. This time at least they have the opportunity to interact on the screen, and with a little Less blood. We will have to wait and see what happens later for the characters as the season ends, but with the news that season 2 of “The Pitt” is on the way, we may see even more double dourif goodness in the future!
