Dragons begin the World Cup campaign with Win while Bellamy’s undefeated streak continues

Wales surpassed Kazakhstan to begin his 2026 World Cup classification campaign with a victory and maintain the undefeated reign of Craig Bellamy as manager.

Dan James and the captain at night, Ben Davies scored on both sides of a penalty of Askhat Tagybergen before the substitute rabbi Matondo made sure that there was no great annoying at the Cardiff City stadium.

Dragons have never been classified for the final tournaments of the consecutive World Cup and the three points here will give Wales a lot of hopes of making history in a group that also includes Liechtenstein, Macedonia del Norte and Belgium.

Dan James opened the scoring within 10 minutes when his deviant attack found the network after Kazakhstan made a disaster of cleaning the danger.

He pointed out a comfortable night for Bellamy’s side, but things were far from being simple since visitors looked dangerous in spells.

Kazakhstan could not score in the entire campaign of the b league of his nations this season. But shortly before the half -hour mark, they were level when Tagybergen found the network from the penalty spot after Connor Roberts had been penalized by a handball.

He tried a nervous past minutes for Wales, but only moments after the restart of Davies, deputing as a pattern in the absence of the injured Aaron Ramsey, he went home from a corner to restore the leadership of the host.

From there, Wales seemed to a large extent comfortable and wrapped things in the detention time when Matondo Rifló in his first senior international goal to seal the victory.

It gives Bellamy’s men a platform on which to build and will enter the clash of Tuesday with Macedonia del Norte, which beat Liechtenstein 3-0, full of trust.
