Harry Kane says he wants to win the Golden Ball and believes that he can once begin to win trophies with Bayern Munich.
The goals of the captain of England this season for Bayern have shot them on the edge of the Bundesliga title, while they are also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
“Just being in a club like Bayern Munich has helped to push me even more, in terms of trust and in terms of responsibility,” he said.
“I feel that I have definitely improved, I have improved, and perhaps the ‘aura’ of me as a player is a little more respected than it has been in the past, because you are playing in big games, big nights.
“I felt that last season I also scored more than 40 goals, but obviously, I was never going to win the Golden Ball because we did not win the team trophies.”

“Those opportunities are there. That is probably what I want to say in terms of being more respected worldwide, on the biggest stage.
“For something like that, you must win enough team trophies to be considered that and probably score 40 goals, but that is a possibility this season.
“That is definitely something that I would love to try to achieve.”
The 31 -year -old is England’s record scorer with 69 and shows no signs of deceleration, since the Mission of Glory in the 2026 World Cup under Thomas Tuchel begins with the Opening qualifier against Albania on Friday night.
Kane says that people would still be excited about him if they were younger, but they have “bored” for their goals.
“It’s like when Ronaldo and Messi were throwing these crazy numbers and next season they would score 40 goals instead of 50 and it was as if they were having a bad season,” he said.
“People take it for granted and maybe a little with England as well. I have scored 69 goals and when you score against Albania or Latvia, or these teams, people only expect it, so there is not so much talk.
“Let’s say that if I was 25 years old now and doing what I am doing, the emotion around me would be a bit different from what it is now.
“Once again, that is part of where we are with football and I have seen it with other players as they enter their 30 years.
“Maybe people get a bit of what you do, but I’m certainly not bored. I am excited by these games and games ahead.”
