The Galaxy A56 of Samsung’s average rank has edition of photos of AI and a blow to its buttons

Although I naively expected to see the Galaxy S25 Edge ahead of MWC, that was not what I saw last week in the information session prior to the Samsung show. However, what I saw could intrigue many of you: a cheaper galaxy hardware portion in the form of Galaxy A56. It will be available at the end of this year, from $ 499 (or £ 499 in the United Kingdom), which is a bit cheaper than the Pixel 8a when it first appeared. Samsung also announced the Galaxy A36 and A26 Today, and will begin at $ 399 and $ 299 respectively.

Many of the series updates this year coincide with what we saw of the S25. The A56 is thinner than its predecessor, up to 7.4 mm of 8.2 mm, while packing a marginally larger screen of 6.7 inches. The Bevels, who were generally one of the most prominent visuals of an A series, have also shaved the bezels of the device beyond in the A56.

The hardware has been adjusted, with a brushed metal frame and a minor design turn: a new slightly outstanding bulge on the side where the volume and feed buttons are located. When I could handle the A56 briefly, I liked this. Leaving the asymmetry aside, it was easier to handle, which was surprising since it was a 6.7 -inch device, and I am more accustomed to 6.3 -inch phones. The A56 felt less difficult to handle. (Samsung designers read my deranged editorial on the sides of the phones and decided to merge the waters?

It is a mixed bag in the camera’s specifications this year. The front of the A56 now has a lower 12 -megapixel selfie camera, while an updated 12MP Ultrawide, 50MP lens with a F/1.8 lens and a stabilization of optical images is located on the back. There is still a 5MP macro lens for someone out there.

These new cameras have many of the latest updates in the S25 family, including improved image signal processing for better low light performance, as well as a series of AI features, including improved detection of subjects in portrait mode. Samsung says that the A56 will better recognize heaven, skin, faces, hair and grass to improve bokeh effects.

With respect to the edition of Images with AI, there are also object draft, automatic videos for videos and filter create, where you can choose an existing image and apply its color and tone to a different photo. You will also get the best face, which allows you to choose between multiple catches for the best expression of all, provided you have enabled movement photos. These are not new features in smartphones, but their addition about the average A56 range to the Galaxy S25.

Through an UI 7, the A56 obtains style flourishes and improvements on the home screen such as the bar now, changes in the notification panel and scalable widgets in different shapes and sizes. Samsung also promises six generations of operating system updates (compared to four in the A55 last year) and six years of security updates.

As you can see at this point, there are no surprises here. The 5,000 mAh battery is the same size as the A55, although the load speed is now 45W. The company says it can load the device completely more than an hour. Samsung has also changed to its own exyn 1580 4NM chip, with CPU impulses of about 18 percent. The hardware, once again, is close to the quality and premium sensation of what we typically see in the devices of Galaxy S.

It is the maximum medium range telephone season. The Galaxy A56 faces the recently launched iPhone 16E, while rumors suggest that Google Pixel 9a could break the coverage very soon.

Samsung also announced today the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G, which have 6.7 -inch screens that are as bright as 1,200 nits and update up to 120Hz. They also come with an IU 7, including features such as Circle to Search that was previously launched on more expensive phones. In addition, they also have triple camera systems in the rear with a 50MP main sensor, although its Ultrawide configuration chamber is not as clear as the A56 to 8MP. Some of the software characteristics, such as Best Face, are also reserved for the A56, although it will still find the draft updated objects and filters in the pair of cheapest phones.

Finally, although the A36 and the A26 have the same IP67 rating and the 5,000 mAh battery as the A56, they will only pack 6 GB of RAM and the A36 uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor instead of exynos 1580 in the A56.

In the United Kingdom, the Galaxy A56 will go to request on March 2 and will be launched on March 19. It will come in four “amazing” colors (Samsung’s writing), graphite, olive, pink and light gray. Because nothing shouts incredible as a lighter gray tone. While we have prices from us, Samsung has not shared a more precise moment for availability that “at the end of this year.”
