Mrs. A Hilary Scott I can’t believe how talented your daughters are when it comes to music.
“All three of my daughters are musically gifted,” Scott, 38, said exclusively. Us weekly celebrating their new Christmas song”It’s hard to wait for Christmas” with his 11-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye. “It’s interesting how everyone expresses it differently.”
While her twins Betsy and Emory may only be six years old, they are already showing signs of musical abilities.
“Emory keeps melodies in his head and asks me, ‘Can we go to the corner and record this melodic moment?’ I want to record it so I remember it,’” Scott recalled to Us. “Betsy loves to dance. … They also love music that sounds very different.”
While Betsy loves everyone from the Descendants soundtrack for stevie nicks‘Edge of Seventeen,’ Emory loves when his mom plays Imagine Dragons on the car ride to school.
As the eldest daughter, Eisele has had more opportunities to tour with Scott and Lady A over the years. This helped her prepare for the opportunity to perform “Hard to Wait for Christmas” at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville for a Christmas on Opry Country on December 5.
“She’s in her musical theater era right now,” Scott said before the special performance. “We heard the hamilton soundtrack several times a week. Let’s go see him in New York. “It’s kind of an early Christmas present for you this year.”
This holiday season, Scott and Eisele hope to brighten the season with a special Christmas song. Titled “Hard to Wait for Christmas,” the song aims to ignite holiday cheer for all ages and remember the many things that make the holiday season so special.
“We hope this song just allows for moments, even if it’s just the 3 and a half minutes they put in, where families can smile and laugh and play together,” Scott shared. “If I had a Christmas wish, that would be it. “When this song comes on, I hope that whoever is with you, you laugh and have fun and it’s fun in a season that can be very difficult at times.”
While Scott continues to embrace the positive response to the song, she remains grateful for her husband’s support. Chris Tyrrell.
He also keeps faith in his family’s “compass” as they navigate life’s ups and downs throughout the year.
“We wake up on Christmas morning and the first thing we do is read Luke 2 (the scriptures),” Scott shared. “Of all the gifts we received for our family, the greatest gift was the miracle that was born on Christmas. We always pause and make sure that that’s where we start each day and it really is with a spirit of love and being a light in the world and hoping that what we are instilling in our children is that we are that light for others. others.”
