The first steps correct a 18 -year -old Marvel error

Turning Ebon Moss-Bachrach into gravel and set Joseph Quinn fire is one thing, but the biggest challenge that the “fantastic four: first steps” faces one of Marvel’s most powerful villains: Galactus (expressed by Ralph Ineson ). With the doors to the Baxter building now open, the new trailer showed us how the devouring of the worlds looks, well, his silhouette and the back of his chest, at least. Of course, it would have been incredible to take a look at our new team of heroes who go to the head of the head with the devouring of the worlds, or maybe even a fragment of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Joseph Quinn). Far by Ineson’s world scraper. However, let’s never forget that it could have been much worse. We could have met another giant giant fart of Thanos who pretends to be one of the most scary entities in the universe.

Fortunately, fans can rest quietly knowing that we will not see a galactus repetition presented as a giant smog as in “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”. On the other hand, judging by the new Teaser advance, one of the greatest and most bad villains in Marvel’s history will receive the treatment he deserves. We just hope it avoids the mistakes that Galactus’s last iteration faced in 2007 in what remains one of the best but frustrating films of “Fantastic Four” to date.

The Fantastic Four: The first steps finally clear the air left by the latest version of Galactus

It is quite difficult to be the largest person in the room, so imagine the struggle to be the largest in a solar system. That is the challenge that the creative forces behind “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” faced themselves when they dared to present Galactus to a franchise that ended quickly. While there was no doubt that the combined effort of Doug Jones’s physical presence and Laurence Fishburne’s voice as Silver Surfer worked wonderfully in the film (that persecution scene between him and Chris Evans’ human torch Following the arrival of Norrin the great radd chief who falls apart.

In an interview with Comics bookThe director of the 2007 sequel, Tim Story, admitted that anxious study heads were responsible for the Galactus’s sodance instead of original characters. “Those who were in charge were afraid of what could be because, you have to remember, even Marvel has passed in a quite intelligent and success . “Then … (the character) outside of space, there were those who were in charge that were not ready for what could be.” Errors were made, and mass entities were anything but finished in the world. But although it certainly seems that Galactus in the new movie “Fantastic Four” could be in a correction of the course, there are still MCU elements that must be considered.

Galactus needs to improve the emergence of the silver surfer and the eternal

While Galactus could be the new great guy in the galaxy, we cannot forget that the MCU has already had a close encounter with some quite large characters in “Eternals” when the Celestials visited the earth. Without notable facial characteristics, these divided beings were present but simply not threatening, and in the MCU, one of them has been protruding from the planet during the last four years. With that in mind, together with the interstellar fog of the previous version of the fantastic four, it is much to ride in this galactus as a great memorable bad boy that is worth fearing. The good news is that they have found the perfect talent to bring voice to that terror.

Ralph Ineson may not have been heard in the new trailer, but he has probably heard his unmistakable tone well in recent years. Appearing in “Nosferatu”, “The First Omit”, and heard that he made his way through “The Green Knight”, Ineson has such a low release that he could attract large marine life schools. This almost ethereal rumble will make Galactus the terrifying presence that needs to be so much and a character that is legitimately larger than life as we know it. We will only have to wait for him when “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” arrives at theaters on July 25, 2025.
