The last beta update of WhatsApp for iOS offers users the ability to add and change between multiple accounts on a single device, according to . It comes more than a year later. With version 25.2.10.70 for iOS, users have an option by adding a second account to the application, Burner Reports: They can configure it as an independent primary account or “scan a QR code to link the new account as a companion.” The update is now available for Beta testers through the Apple TestFlight program.
In Android, executing two accounts simultaneously in WhatsApp requires a double SIM situation, since each account must have its own phone number. WhatsApp offers another application, WhatsApp Business, which users can configure a second account about the use of a different telephone number, but that still means jumping between two applications. The Android update and what is currently being tested for iOS allows users with two telephone numbers to maintain all their conversations in a single application.
