A Costco membership will allow you to shop at over 600 locations within the United States, as well as over 800 locations worldwide. You can use your card at Costco business centers, travel centers, gas stations, hearing aid centers, opticians, pharmacies and, of course, on the Costco website. Lucky for you, it only costs $65 a year and right now, You will be given a $45 digital store card with your purchase.

However, the real magic happens right in the warehouses, where you can find everything your heart desires. Laundry detergent? I understand. Roasted chicken? Oh yes. 80″ 4K OLED TV? You bet. Hot tub for seven people? Yes. And then, after a long day of shopping, you can treat yourself to a hot dog for a dollar, a price the Costco founder told a CEO he wanted to raise. “If you pick up the damn hot dog, I’ll kill you.”
Membership can be shared between anyone in your household. Did the child just get his license and want to drive? Cool! Put them to work running errands. Maybe you can attract them with free samples.
As someone who moved away from home years ago, I finally got up the courage and got my own Costco membership. I honestly don’t know how I lived without one. Stocking up on snacks in bulk is really the only way you should buy them. The volume also makes it much more difficult to eat the entire box of Goldfish in one sitting, which, yes, is something I was dealing with.
Upon registration, the $45 Costco card will be emailed directly from Costco within two weeks of successful redemption. The digital credit is not single-use, so there is no need to spend the $45 all at once. Good luck with that. Not because Costco items are expensive, but because there are so many good things that you’ll have trouble staying in double digits every time you go.
