Investing.com – The Dutch stock market closed lower this Friday; the setbacks of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.

The best value of the session was BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:), with a rise of 2.38%, or 2.95 points, to close at 127.10. Meanwhile, ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:) added 1.38% or 0.20 points to close at 14.67 and ING Group NV (AS:) rose 1.24%, 0.18 points, ending the session at 14.84.
At the bottom of the index was ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which fell 2.27%, or 0.55 points, to close at 23.73. DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) fell 1.60%, or 1.65 points, to close at 101.45, and adyen NV (AS:) fell 0.88% or 13.20 points to 1,490.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 57 to 44 and 8 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% at 21.09.
Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.59% or 1.11 to $71.13 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in February rose 1.33%, 0.98, to settle at $74.39 a barrel, while gold futures for delivery in February fell 1 .10%, 29.85, to $2,679.55 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% at 1.05, while EUR/GBP rose 0.65% at 0.83.
US dollar index futures rose 0.06% to 106.71.
