8/10 The Man United Star Was "monstrous" Against Man City

Manchester is Red in 2024, with Manchester United claiming its second win of the calendar year in four games over bitter rivals Manchester City.

Of course, he played a huge role in both goals, winning the penalty that Fernandes converted. After receiving a misplaced back pass from Matheus Nunes, he waited for the midfielder to try to recover the ball and fell under the pressure of his challenge.

The goal, meanwhile, was spectacular, finding Martínez’s ball with an excellent touch around Ederson and firing from a tight angle.

Luckhurst certainly praised the defender. The journalist gave Maguire a rating of 8/10 for his efforts, noting that he had “little problems” with Haaland and explaining that he was able to “dominate” him in the second 45 minutes.
